Creating and configuring VPC networks

Creating a VPC Network

When creating a VPC network on Shapehost, you will need to provide a name, description, and region. It's important to note that in order to create a VPC network in a specific region, you must have at least one active instance in that region. If you do not have an active instance, you can create the VPC network during the instance creation process, as outlined in the "Create Instance" tutorial.

Once the VPC network is created, a default CIDR (Classless Inter-Domain Routing) is automatically allocated for the VPC private network. If you wish to modify the default CIDR, you can easily do so by clicking the "More -> Edit" button on the VPC network that you wish to edit.
